The CDT and our three institutions are host to a wide array of seminars, conferences, and cohort activities.
Scotie 2026
The workshop Symplectic singularities, Representation theory and Integrability takes place on 26-29 May 2026 at the University of Glasgow.
It will bring together experts in the three areas of the workshop title to explore recent developments at the interface of the areas. We plan to have an extended talk each day, the first half of which will be aimed specifically at PhD students from different backgrounds.

AGQ Retreat 2026
We are excited to announce the 2026 Retreat will be 26-29 May at Gartmore House in Stirlingshire. More details to come soon!

Maths, Physics, & AI Alignment
Researchers from various organizations working with the training organization Iliad and the UK AI Security Institute, visited on 11-12 May, 2026 to introduce us to the field of AI Safety & Alignment, theoretical methods used therein, and a variety of fellowship and placement opportunities for students and staff.
