  • Maths, Physics, & AI Alignment

    Researchers from various organizations working with the training organization Iliad and the UK AI Security Institute, visited on 11-12 May, 2026 to introduce us to the field of AI Safety & Alignment, theoretical methods used therein, and a variety of fellowship and placement opportunities for students and staff.

  • Student conference 2025

    We are excited to announce our first AGQ Student Conference, taking place at the Grosvenor hotel in Glasgow, on the 4th and 5th of November.  Click here for full details!

Scotie 2026

The workshop Symplectic singularities, Representatiotheory and Integrability takes place on 26-29 May 2026 at the University of Glasgow.

It will bring together experts in the three areas of the workshop title to explore recent developments at the interface of the areas. We plan to have an extended talk each day, the first half of which will be aimed specifically at PhD students from different backgrounds.
