Perspectives in Knot Theory
Knot theory is a pervasive feature of low-dimensional topology, with rich algebraic, combinatorial, topological, and geometric aspects. This brief survey aims to highlight some of these differing perspectives, showing both how they can bring together mathematicians and physicists working in seemingly unrelated fields and where they can lead those directly interested in knots, links, and braids.
